The Lamp

About the work

The Lamp presents a stylised, almost architectural arrangement of lamps, vessels and illuminated objects, organised within a large central structure resembling a tiered shrine, tower or tree-like form. The repeated lamp motifs create a sense of ritual, continuity and accumulation, while the warm terracotta, burnt orange, pink, ochre and muted purple palette gives the painting an intimate, glowing atmosphere. Every Rangkunchala work is completely hand-made and unique — no prints, no reproductions. It arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity and is carefully packed for insured delivery.
