About the work

The golden figure kneels beneath an inverted animal-human form, surrounded by crows. The unusual spatial relationship creates a dreamlike tension, evoking duality, transformation and the instability of perception. The ochre palette gives the work an almost mythological character. Every Rangkunchala work is completely hand-made and unique — no prints, no reproductions. It arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity and is carefully packed for insured delivery.
