About the work

The broad horizontal composition gives the Ganga and its dense congregation of boats a sense of vastness. The dark shoreline contrasts beautifully with the hazy water, while tiny figures and coloured boats prevent the atmosphere from becoming purely monochromatic. Every Rangkunchala work is completely hand-made and unique — no prints, no reproductions. It arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity and is carefully packed for insured delivery.
